SEE YOUR IMAGE ON AN ORIGINAL 1943 SPITFIRE.
WILL SUPPORT UNICEF AND THE LONGEST FLIGHT
your face on the actual silver spitfire!
An optional element of the competition is to upload a headshot into the cockpit of the digital Silver Spitfire. Once you have uploaded your headshot and shared the image of you piloting G-IRTY with friends, family, and your social media followers, these images will be added to an archive of Silver Spitfire Supporters.
Following the successful completion of The Longest Flight, we will print these images onto the original 1943 Silver Spitfire airframe! We will then display this unique piece of aviation history and celebrate you, the people, who have supported The Silver Spitfire with your kind donations.
HOW WILL YOUR DONATIONS BE USED?
By becoming a #SilverSpitfireSupporter, your donation will directly help fund a world-first attempt to circumnavigate the globe in a Spitfire, along with helping Unicef who are working to promote and protect children’s rights globally.
50% OF DONATIONS
Will go towards vital engineering, spare parts, permits and logistical support for G-IRTY, meaning your donations will directly help us complete a new chapter in aviation history.
50% OF DONATIONS
Will go directly to Unicef. A donation to Unicef means you really are making a difference to children’s lives, from life-saving vaccines to providing school books in a rural village classroom. Unicef’s vital work helps to protect children, transform their lives and build a safer world for tomorrow’s generation.
UNICEF WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1946, AND HAVE BEEN PROTECTING AND PROMOTING CHILDREN’S RIGHTS FOR 70 YEARS.
Unicef is the leading organisation working for children. They ensure more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. Their work has done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. A donation to Unicef means you really are making a difference to children’s lives.
Unicef receives no money from the UN budget, so they rely entirely on charitable donations like yours to fund vital work to protect children, transform their lives and build a safer world for tomorrow’s generations.
