SILVER SPITFIRE IMPORTANT UPDATE

#SILVERSPITFIRE UPDATE:

Following the successful completion of our world-first circumnavigation of the globe in G-IRTY, the 1943 original MK IX #Supermarine #Spitfire, we wanted to update you, our loyal fans and supporters, of what’s next for the team and The #LongestFlight project.

Currently, G-IRTY is safely stored away under the expert care of Boultbee Flight Academy, where she will remain whilst the team focuses their time and efforts on trying to share her story.

STAMP Productions and Ben Uttley – who flew with us during the expedition – are currently working on an edit for a full-length #documentary feature. This is no small feat, and the whole team are focused on securing support for the project to enable us to release the film to the widest possible audience. As you can imagine, it is a time consuming and challenging process to gain traction for such a release.

For these reasons, we need your support more than ever, helping us to spread the news of G-IRTY’s achievements with friends, family and colleagues. Please bear in mind that you may be hearing less from us from now on until we have another update on the documentary release, and possible airshow appearances in the summer.

As always, thank you all so much for your continued support of The Longest Flight.
