First Flight

Aviation Adventures Ltd is pleased to announce the completion of The Silver Spitfire restoration and successful first test flight of their stunning bare metal icon of the skies. The successful Duxford test flight saw the 90% original, 1943 Mk IX Spitfire take to the skies for the first time since the 1950s, and means the ‘Silver Spitfire – The Longest Flight’ expedition is on course to depart from Goodwood on the 5^th of August 2019 for a world-first circumnavigation attempt.
